I've picked up an Abraham Lincoln fetish in the past 5 months. This was for my Illustration final... but I'm probably gonna redo the damn thing.

Anyways, this guy named James Shields once challenged Lincoln to a duel because he caught word that Lincoln was pretty much slandering through the newspapers 'anonymously'. Lincoln accepted at the prompting of his friends, and chose broadswords... because Lincoln was way damn taller than Shields and would have the advantage. But the swords never left their sheaths, as Lincoln's comrades came running up and told them both to knock it off. Lincoln apologized to Shields for the slander, and was so embarrassed about the whole ordeal that he rarely ever spoke of it.
